Global Wars

A critique with a social concern.

"My greatest inspiration is the people in their condition! I try to bridge the gap between my world, where I live, and those in power!"

The figures most present in my work are the general, the politician, the market vendor, the teacher, the student, the teenager, the kings, queens, chiefs, Mother Africa… These are the agents of GLOBAL WARS:

  • The politician (lion!) who doesn't keep his promises;
  • The mother who tries to cross the street, afraid of being run over, to go to work and support her family;
  • The market woman with the weight on her head and her child on her back;
  • the general who seizes all the money;
  • The politician who makes promises but doesn't keep them;
  • The weaker sex in prostitution;
  • The teenager without school to learn from, the teacher without school to teach from;
  • the alienation of the traditional power of kings, queens, and chiefs;

These GLOBAL WARS are transforming the world as I see it, my street, my city, my country…

With earthy ochre tones and transgressive fluorescent hues, I seek to broaden the spectrum of my language, marking a search for a different, new force, another kind of power! This leads us to explore other paths using a different color palette, exploring contrasts and activist reactions.”
