The idea for this project came from social media. There's a woman who often talks about artists the world didn't know while they were alive, and who are now in major museums around the world. This made me think about the many people in this world who have done and continue to do so much for thousands of people, living in anonymity – a few by choice, and the vast majority because they are not recognized by society. I bring here a discussion regarding the current world, built on lobbies and influence, and almost never based on people truly deserving to be in a certain place or position. This hinders the development of societies because they don't value those who truly deserve it, but rather someone who belongs to a certain circuit, a group, or a family. In doing so, they forget that societies are built on competence, not on figurehead leaders.
